At the Woodville auction yesterday (sorry for the delay in posting this- I fell asleep...)there was a pregnant Jenny Donkey with a sore foot, and her young son, both very shy but not mean, a very very short&fat Haflinger mare, approx 15 yrs old, no info given about any training other than halter broke although she very well could be trained, she handled very well. There was a little young mini Donkey stud that was quite friendly, the horse trader G. brought 2 horses in to sell: a grade chestnut QH type mare, 4yrs old trained to ride, and a Saddlebred gelding 3 yrs old not trained but he seemed decent. He said that the gelding is double gaited but not registered. I am happy to say that the Donkeys went to good homes, the horse trader G bought the Haflinger mare and did not get his price for his 2 so brought them back home.
We have great horses needing new loving homes, some "confident/knowledgeable beginner safe", some projects and some completely untrained. Adoption fees negotiable. We cannot save any more horses until we find some homes. Thanks!
