Meat Horses Aug 23 2012

This Thurs nite at the Lindsay auction no horses were sold for meat.  Fortunatly for the horses that were brought there, their owners cared enough to stay there and did not sell them for meat price, instead brought them back home.  I was amazed at the number of incredibly well trained horses that got such minimal bids...  one horse was being ridden around outside, inside, the fellow stood up on her back and rode, she got hardly any bids, That Is Crazy - you could not train a horse even remotely for the price that was bid..  her owners wanted a whole lot more than that for her(I heard  2500) so they brought her back home.
