Meat Horses Mar 3 2012

There was only one horse at the Woodville auction this wk. A gorgeous, but filthy 3 yr old Belgian cross filly, very sweet , handleable and picked up her feet nicely. Fortunately my friend Katrina, from Adopt a Pre -Loved Horse outbid the meat buyers for her! She will be available for adoption. Contact Katrina at Adopt A Pre-Loved Horse, I am going to be putting a link to her in our friends section.
We do have several nice horses, ranging from "beginner" to intermediate, green broke needing just a bit of time and untrained. Please check out our Available Horses, we can't save another until we find one a home. Affordable adoption fees. Thanks!!!!

  1. I own "Adopt A Preloved Horse" horse rescue farm, we were able to bid and save this filly from the meat dealer, who was the only other one bidding. We had her transported home & have now named her "A Taste of Honey" barn name Honey! She is a tall 3 yr. old, Belgian x but very well handled, we have cleaned her up, but she does require additional feed to put more weight on! If you are interested in assisting in helping pay for her costs, please let us know. www.adoptaprelovedhorse.com

    1. I am so glad she didn't go for meat, and I know that you will provide a loving environment for her and make sure she has a great new home. She is such a sweet girl and so nice to handle, am sure that she won't be with you for long, some lucky person is going to have a great horse!! YAY!!
