A big welcome to two new arrivals, today Oct 17, Moe, registered as Mobil's Mobie, a 3 yr old bay approx 16.3 hands, he came here directly off the track, thoroughbred (he last raced Oct 6 at Woodbine - and won), and Joe, registered as Touch em all Joe, a 4 yr old chestnut thoroughbred approx 16 hands who has been off the track for about a month. Thanks so much to their owners who cared about the fate of their horses and made sure they are cared for upon retirement from racing! It is nice to see!! The horses love their new field, had a little run around and then found what seems to be the favoured roll spot and had a great roll around and then cruised the field checkin out the new pad........ I would have taken more pics but the batteries in the camera died. I will get some better pics and post them later on. In the meantime I did get a good rollin picture. Hope you enjoy - I love watching for the first roll in a new field, and I did not expect to catch them both in the same postition, great timing!! These athletes are available for adoption, ready to start on new careers, both are friendly and sound.
