Today we rode Jambo, our newest horse, a lovely 10 yr old quarter horse gelding. He is very well behaved, easy to catch, tack and mount. He is not a beginner horse, at least in an open field or alone on a trail, needs a confident rider who will direct him where to go. I am not the greatest rider and I was quite comfortable riding him, no buck or rear, mostly just Him: "Well I would like to go over here" Us: "No, we are going here". He does not seem to get herdbound, did not mind being away from his friends. He does not neck rein. Nice ride, a very good boy!
