There were no horses today at the Woodville auction, Yay! (it was like having a day off!) There were no Llamas or Alpacas (which usually are sold for meat). I recently have had a few people inquire about their availability at the auction, would anyone like me to report on them as well?
I am not sure how many of you read Horse Canada magazine, but in the March/April edition there is an excellent article by Liz Brown, entitled From the Stable to the Table. She interviews the main meat buyer that we deal with, and a restaurant owner that serves horse meat, amongst others, it is very informative.
Yes, please report about the Llamas and Alpacas too!
